2. Business Scope
Kathaframes primarily operates in:
- Video Production
- Video Editing Services
- Corporate Films
- Podcast Production
- Studio & Equipment Rental
- Photography Services
- Event Coverage
- Documentary Production
- Creative Content Production
Based on client requirements, the company may undertake:
- TV Commercials (TVCs)
- Brand Films
- Product Shoots
- Promotional Videos
- Corporate Branding Projects
- Other media production services approved by management
Employees shall perform duties assigned by management within their role and capability.
3. Employment Term & Notice Period
Probation Period
The first four (4) months of employment shall be considered a probation period.
Notice Period During Probation
Either party may terminate employment by providing: 30 Days Written Notice or salary in lieu of notice as approved by management.
Confirmation Period
Upon successful completion of probation, the employee becomes a confirmed employee.
Notice Period After Confirmation
Employees who have completed one (1) year or more of service shall provide: 60 Days Written Noticebefore resignation.
The company reserves the right to waive or reduce the notice period at its discretion.
Employees shall complete all assigned handovers before final clearance.
Performance, Productivity & Startup Work Culture
Kathaframes operates as a startup where every employee's contribution directly impacts project delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth.
Employees are expected to:
- Perform assigned duties responsibly and professionally.
- Maintain productivity and work quality standards.
- Complete tasks within agreed timelines.
- Support team members and company objectives.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Follow instructions provided by management.
The company will not tolerate:
- Repeated negligence.
- Careless or lazy work.
- Poor performance after reasonable guidance.
- Intentional delays in assigned work.
- Failure to complete assigned responsibilities.
- Conduct that negatively affects team productivity or project delivery.
- Repeated failure to meet deadlines.
- Unprofessional behavior impacting clients or colleagues.
Employees who repeatedly fail to perform their duties despite warnings, coaching, or performance improvement opportunities may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
Business Requirements & Project Availability
As project requirements may vary, the company reserves the right to:
- Reassign employees to different projects.
- Modify work schedules.
- Adjust team structures.
- Reorganize departments based on business needs.
In situations where there are insufficient projects, business slowdown, operational restructuring, client loss, or other business-related requirements, the company reserves the right to separate employees from service in accordance with applicable laws, notice requirements, and company policies.
Project Abandonment Policy
If an employee stops working, abandons, or leaves any assigned project incomplete without prior approval from management, the company reserves the right to take disciplinary action.
If such abandonment causes project delays, client dissatisfaction, financial loss, or operational disruption, the company may:
- Deduct salary as permitted by applicable laws and company policy.
- Withhold incentives, bonuses, or pending payments.
- Recover losses incurred due to the employee's negligence or misconduct.
- Take disciplinary or legal action where necessary.
Unauthorized absence or refusal to complete assigned project responsibilities may result in salary deductions for the affected period.
4. Professional Conduct
Employees shall:
- Treat clients, colleagues, vendors, freelancers, and management respectfully.
- Maintain honesty and integrity.
- Avoid misconduct, discrimination, bullying, or harassment.
- Protect the reputation of Kathaframes.
- Follow ethical business practices.
5. Project Scope, Editing & Revision Policy
Standard Revisions
Projects include only revisions approved in quotations or agreements.
Permitted revisions:
- Text corrections
- Logo changes
- Music replacement
- Color correction
- Minor editing modifications
Additional Work
The following are considered extra work:
- New scenes
- New graphics
- Additional animations
- Script modifications
- New deliverables
- Format changes
- Major restructuring
Additional work requires:
- Management approval
- Client approval
- Advance payment where applicable
Employees shall never promise unlimited revisions.
6. Video Shoot & Reshoot Policy
Chargeable Reshoots
Additional charges may apply when reshoots occur due to:
- Client requirement changes
- Location changes
- Talent changes
- Script revisions
- Missed client instructions
- New creative requests
Non-Chargeable Reshoots
Reshoots caused by:
- Technical failure
- Internal production errors
- Company-approved mistakes
shall be reviewed by management cut in salary.
7. Raw Files & Project Assets
Unless specifically included in the agreement:
- Raw footage
- Project files
- Source files
- Editable files
shall remain the property of Kathaframes.
No employee may share project assets without written management approval.
8. Confidentiality & NDA
Employees agree to keep confidential:
- Client databases
- Pricing structures
- Quotations
- Marketing strategies
- Vendor information
- Project files
- Creative concepts
- Internal operations
- Financial information
Confidentiality obligations continue even after employment ends.
Any violation may result in:
- Immediate termination
- Legal action
- Financial recovery of damages
9. Non-Solicitation & Client Protection
Employees shall not:
- Approach company clients independently
- Divert company business
- Share client information
- Encourage clients to leave Kathaframes
- Poach employees, freelancers, or vendors
This restriction applies during employment and for 12 months after leaving the company.
10. Conflict of Interest
Employees shall not engage in:
- Competing businesses
- Unauthorized freelance work
- Side projects conflicting with company interests
without written management approval.
11. Attendance & Working Hours
Employees shall:
- Report on time
- Inform management regarding delays
- Maintain attendance discipline
Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action.
12. Leave Policy
Leave requests must be approved by:
- Reporting Manager
- HR Department
Unauthorized leave may result in:
- Salary deductions
- Performance review impact
- Disciplinary action
13. Client Communication Policy
Employees shall not commit to:
- Pricing
- Discounts
- Refunds
- Timelines
- Additional services
without management approval.
14. Company Asset Policy
Employees shall protect:
- Cameras
- Lenses
- Drones
- Lighting equipment
- Hard disks
- Computers
- Studio equipment
Loss or Damage of Company Property
Employees are responsible for the proper care and handling of company equipment and assets.
If any company property, equipment, accessories, storage devices, or production assets are:
- Lost
- Damaged due to negligence
- Misused
- Stolen due to employee negligence
the employee may be required to compensate the company for the repair, replacement, or recovery cost, as determined by management.
The company reserves the right to recover such costs from salary, incentives, or other dues in accordance with applicable laws.
15. Work From Home Policy
WFH is subject to management approval.
Employees must:
- Meet deadlines
- Maintain productivity
- Attend required meetings
- Submit progress reports
16. Performance Reviews
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Productivity
- Quality
- Attendance
- Teamwork
- Client satisfaction
- Professional conduct
Salary revisions and promotions are based on performance and company growth.
17. Internship Policy
Interns must:
- Follow company policies
- Protect confidential information
- Complete assigned tasks
Certificates are issued only upon successful completion and approval.
18. Disciplinary Actions
Violations may result in:
- Verbal Warning
- Written Warning
- Salary Hold
- Suspension
- Termination
- Legal Proceedings
Applicable violations include:
- Data theft
- Fraud
- Confidentiality breaches
- Unauthorized absence
- Client poaching
- Equipment misuse
- Project abandonment
- Negligence causing financial loss to the company
- Repeated poor performance
- Failure to perform assigned duties
- Repeated careless or negligent work

20. Acknowledgement
I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with all policies, NDA obligations, confidentiality requirements, and company rules outlined in this document.
I further acknowledge that any loss caused to the company due to negligence, poor performance, project abandonment, misconduct, or damage/loss of company property may result in disciplinary action, salary deductions, recovery of losses, or legal proceedings as permitted by law.
